Get an email when a cart big enough to be worth a phone call is stopped by one of your rules, with a daily digest for everything smaller.

**Short answer.** Turn on "Email me when a large order is blocked" in Settings to be notified when a cart above a value or quantity threshold is stopped by a rule. Routine small blocks stay out of your inbox. Instant emails are capped at 10 a day, and everything under the threshold can be rolled into a single daily digest instead.

## Key takeaways

- Pro plan only, and it lives in Settings rather than a page of its own.
- Leave the value threshold blank and Prime MOQ works one out from your largest orders.
- Up to three recipients, and instant emails are capped at 10 a day.
- It saves through the shared Settings save bar, so navigating away discards the change.

## Before you start

- At least one published rule, since an alert is triggered by a rule blocking a cart.

## Why a threshold, not every block

A rule doing its job blocks carts all day. Most of those are a shopper trying 3
where the minimum is 6, noticing the message, and fixing it themselves. An email
for each one is noise you would mute within a week.

The blocks worth interrupting your day are the outliers: a cart three times your
usual order value, or a quantity ten times a rule's maximum. Those are often a
wholesale buyer in the wrong place, and they are worth a phone call while the
buyer is still on the site. This feature is built around that distinction.

## What you can configure

| Setting | What it does |
| --- | --- |
| On and off toggle | Turns the whole feature on or off |
| Cart value above | Alert only for blocked carts above this amount. Leave blank to have one worked out automatically |
| Attempted quantity above | A multiplier of the rule's own maximum. Defaults to 10 |
| Recipients | Up to three email addresses |
| Daily digest | One summary a day covering everything below the threshold |

A live preview beside the settings shows the email as it will arrive with your
current values, so you can see what a recipient actually gets before turning it
on.

## Turn on alerts

**Open Settings** and find "Email me when a large order is blocked".

**Turn the toggle on.**

**Set a cart value threshold, or leave it blank.** Blank is a reasonable default:
Prime MOQ works one out from your largest orders rather than asking you to guess
a figure.

**Set the quantity multiplier, or leave it at 10.** This one is a multiple of
whatever maximum the rule itself sets, so it scales with each rule instead of
needing a number per rule.

**Add at least one recipient.**

**Turn on the daily digest** if you also want the smaller blocks, summarised once
a day.

**Save.** Settings shares one save bar across the whole page.

## Common mistakes

- Turning it on with no recipients. Nothing stops the page saving that way.
You simply never receive anything.

- Editing and navigating away. This section has no save button of its own. It
goes through the page's save bar with everything else.

- Setting the quantity multiplier very low. At 2, an ordinary bulk buyer
triggers an instant email every time. Keep it high enough that qualifying means
genuinely unusual.

- Looking for a counter of alerts sent today. The 10 a day cap is enforced
behind the scenes and is not displayed anywhere in the app.

## FAQ

### What counts as a large blocked order if I leave the threshold blank?

Prime MOQ works out a threshold aimed at your largest orders rather than applying a fixed figure, so a store with a 40 average order value and a store with a 4,000 one both get something sensible.

### Can smaller blocks reach me at all?

Yes, through the daily digest. Everything under your threshold that did not trigger an instant email is bundled into one email a day, which keeps them visible without interrupting anything.

### Is there a limit to how many emails I can receive?

Instant emails are capped at 10 a day. The digest is separate and arrives once a day regardless of that cap, so a very busy day still ends with a complete picture.

### Is this the same as the blocked attempts number on the Rules list?

No. That number counts every blocked attempt whatever its size. This feature only emails you about the ones above your threshold, which is usually a small fraction of the total.

### Can different people get different alerts?

Not separately. The recipient list is shared by the whole feature, so all three addresses receive the same instant alerts and the same digest.

**Best for:** Merchants who want to hear about a blocked order worth following up on personally, without an inbox full of routine blocks.
